The goal is not to sink it!
Not to be picky, but I haven't sunk a ski since the OG Kaw 440/550, and that was because the engine covers would pop off if a wave hit them "just so"......skis have come quite a way since 1972. I'd love to see a Superjet from the 20's......The goal is not to sink it!

Nope. In 15 hours maybe. But can you sink a TR1 or any other 4-stroke in the surf and have it running again in 15-20 minutes?
That is the issue I see with a small standup and a 4-stroke.
Your not ridding hard then!!!!!!!!!!!!!Not to be picky, but I haven't sunk a ski since the OG Kaw 440/550, and that was because the engine covers would pop off if a wave hit them "just so"......skis have come quite a way since 1972. I'd love to see a Superjet from the 20's......
You can take a tr1 or the seadoo 900 and put it in a blaster or mx1 hx etc now. No need to wait for the SJ 4stroke.
I know I'm alone in this comment but, I wasn't impressed with the handling of my Blaster or the jumping ability. My HX with a carbon hood, lightweight battery and oil injection delete would jump pretty well while still turning like it was on rails. The carbon hood was a huge change. The ski feels 60bls lighter (all that weight at the top of the boat). I'm not a fan of the finicky 720 though. A HX with a 701 or 760 would probably be a really fun play boat for my style. I wish I had some fab skillz.

yeah, i agree. they are pretty solid motorsFinicky 720? Those are about as reliable as they come if you feed them the correct oil and keep the fuel system clean.
That is just an inverted nose stab. Some call them a Bronco........... Not a roll. Had to use to ski's to make the setup wake. Pretty cool none the less!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to show that you can jump them out of the water. This one is more impressive:That is just an inverted nose stab. Some call them a Bronco........... Not a roll. Had to use to ski's to make the setup wake. Pretty cool none the less!!!!!!!!!!
Had a dream I went to my dealer. All white, tr1, 60mph out of the crate. Promised me first dibs and offered me a job. Crazy.[/QUOTE Weird I had the same dream. At least the part about the ski.
