Yes we do have them. The 64x systems come with everything you need and are only very clean fresh water units. The box comes installed with two custom curves of your choosing. We gut out any unnecessary 760 wiring for gauges and ect as well as shorten the start/stop harness so it's the same length as the sj unit. The stater and cover are included all you need is a block off. We carry stock, lightened charging, and TL flywheels.

If you already have a 64x system or can find a cheap one like I'm assuming Quinc is getting at we will obviously sell just the cdi. It's hard to find full systems that are very clean and this option takes all the guess work out of it, just bolt in and go! No cleaning up crusty electronics, no installation wiring, no worry of sending a fw out to be lightened, programmed however you like.

I'd like to thank Wax on all of our behalf for helping find a great programmable ignition option for guys that don't want to go full MSD TL. Just like everyone else we've rode the painful unreliable wave of the epics and everything else trying to get a good control on the Yamaha ignition curve. The bigger the engine you have the more this will benefit you. Thanks again Wax.

Breaking out your testing setup?!

I have been refining it further over the past couple months so it’s actually better now than it’s ever been.

Top speed is far beyond anything even remotely safe at the moment. My tach tops out at 10,000 RPM and the speed dials only at 42%.

I’m gathering parts now to replace all the gauges with digital versions so I can automate it further plus capture data and print health reports on each component.

The end goal is to be able to plug in a system, select the tests I want to perform on a touchscreen and hit “run”. The system will run through all the tests automatically, capture all the data and then print off a full report. Pass/Fail, min/max, etc.

I have to say its beautiful. Would you be adverse to testing the stock 760 cdi so we can get a baseline compared to stock 61x/62t? I was planning on keeping the stock box in the toolbox in case I ever have an issue with the zeeltronics, it would be good to know the timing on it with the third lump removed from the flywheel. I think with the third lump removed the staggered timing is removed but I dont think anyone knows the actual timing curve.

I’m not adverse to anything but this is a personal project I started over 5 years ago and am determined to finish if it kills me.

The test unit itself is the project and I have no plans at this point to take on or do any jobs with it, as crazy as that sounds. I have been asked several times to map out the 760 system like I did the 61X and 62T but I haven’t made any commitments yet. Time is always my enemy but who knows, I may end up doing it now just to baseline the digital system as a comparison to the programmable one.

I'm another person interested in the 64x stock curve. But, also totally get it with the priority level.

That test rig is super impressive. I have just enough experience with setting up testing rigs like this to be extra impressed because I know it's no simple task to get it all working.

I did run a stock 64x cdi on my fx1 for a while. I ground the small lump off and it still runs fine. I think it moves the revlimiter up higher. It went very well but not as well as it goes with the zeeltronic in it ( not even close )

With our luck the OEM 760 cdi will have been better than the 62t all along
Im pretty sure it is. I took the msd enhancer out and it was a heap better with the 760 cdi that i ground the lump off on the flywheel
