2 yrs is a long time, but id guess that they were striped out some if they came back out with red loctite.the cages being made out of plastic would be easy to over tighten and strip
Hmm, guess I'm not the only one...
I'm doing a build now and my VF II's I'm using from my last motor also had loose screws when i took it apart. They didnt come out completely, but backed out a little bit. I put them in 2 years ago and red loctited them, but they still came loose...
Not sure what I'm gonna do this time.
i guess the builders are always right in the end:aargh4:
wow, i didnt think that they would be that much, you would think for 600 everybody would be like GET THEM!!!better question are they worth it?
1500 is half of what they want for there 800cc... so again is it worth it lol
what kind of snap are reeds gonna give you?
the 600 i spent on my flywheel was worth it, is it going to be like that kinda snap?
And apartvf 3's don't have any screws. They snap together
Art told me once that the new VF3's are crap.
He likes the VF2 and his own petals on OEM blocks.
I've been happy with my dual Brapjack 44's and Vf2's.
i heard the same thing about vf3's and i also really like vf2's except for the leaking issue
I dont get how they could possibly leak any more (or close as much) as the boyesen reeds....
