I think the SX-R would be an awsome Surf Slashing beast. It carves beautifly. I'd have a blast on the SX-R in the surf.

I rode mine in the surf all the time. The only problem I had was the nose would sub to easy. I could have fixed it up went SJ instead.

Hey couches have their place. Mine is for the kids and skiing. Cheaper than a boat and at least its a PWC. But granted even I hate watching some of the idiots on the water. Plus at the surf rides some one has to play tug boat when called upon. :wink: It is a big pig sometimes.

I think that the SXR is a great ski for a beginner or someone who is bigger/heavier. They are a bit heavy in the nose but if you're over 230 like myself and stand at the back of the tray it's not that big of a deal.

your right but they arnt a high performance surf riding machine..i think they are fun but i wouldnt own one as i only ride surf...
