If you dont wanna be a sheep, then try an sxr. I do realize that originality and open mindedness arent very popular on this website. It weighs about 60lbs more but thats why there are guys like bobby from trinity. I can ride my sxr very well on flat water and off boat waves, but cant speak for surf because i havent rode it yet. For everyone who says sxr's cant do this and that then talk to people like Matt Smith KX454 and Wetbox. Cant we just stick to hating Hydrospaces? Finally, if you wanna be a childish doughnut like most people an this site, then start a poll and thread like this one..

i read it. i didnt care at the time.
but having had an 650sx, 650sj, rn sj, and sxr, i can honestly say that an sxr was by far the easiest and most couch-like and the worst in the surf. mattsmith and scorn are an exception cause they do run a stock hull. this thread was for fun and most people on here took it light-heartedly. im sorry you have been offended.

im not offended by the poll, im more dissapointed at the lack of originality of the people in the community. They are so quick to shoot things down, and i have had more fun on my sxr than i have ever had on any superjet i have ever ridden. But hey, i never have been much of a follower...

this isnt an art club or acting class, this is about riding, particularly freeride and freestyle. originality should only be judged based on maneuvers and routines i guess. on this site we discuss and share setups and ideas to ride better. for this particular style of riding the sj is overwhelmingly superior, from a riders standpoint (of course a/m hulls are a different story.) if a fmx rider chose to ride an xr650 in a contest he'd be original, but he would lose

anyways...its all fun:djsmilie::trink26::friday::Banane57::fing02:

wnb800 your basing your judgment on something you dont even understand. even if you DID ride surf you would ride in the footholds and ride around like the flatwater rider you are. so for you, and your deep wallet, it works.

for westcoast style, sj is the only way.

Them some big words fella....But, we'll let it slide this time :)

Dude, you gotta get a ride on a Trinity! :woot:

And for everyone who says, I dont care, a sxr will never be as good as a SJ....:kabong:

If that is the case then How can Malone Win Championships and sell boats for 40K?? The lower hull is a shortened SXR.... because it was the best hull for freestyle that Malone was ever able to come up with. After riding Yam and Polaris.

Why did WaterLogged come out with the Envy? Shortened Chop matt SXR.

Why did Hunter Choose the Envy Hull over a rev, or other? Probably because He has ridden a EME boat.

HELL, everyone who I have ever heard of riding a EME have said its the best boat they have ever ridden.

All I can say is, Ride a Trinity :beerchug: I cant say yet that it is the best boat for Surf riding, but im pretty sure its the best you can buy for a Championship level flatwater hull.
