drill or not drill out power factor manifold

OK, so I just got my power factor pipe and realized the manifold is for the small 8mm bolts, my cylinder is the large 10mm bolts. So should I drill the holes in the manifold larger? At a loss...

I'm thinking I will drill the Mani out as I can always use spacer bushings if I ever need to run 8mm bolts...

No just get inserts for your cylinder and run the m8's.

The bolts arnt dowls. You can use M8 bolts on M10 holes and have zero issue.

The issue I see with inserts is the holes are tapped to 10x1.25, outer threads on helicoils and timeserts for a m8 bolt are not, they use a STI tap (screw thread insert) which is a slightly smaller diameter. I don't want the inserts backing out or pulling out...

What about alignment issue? The Mani can shift with big holes and small bolts.

Shouldnt b an issue with shifting with the gasket there and torqued

McMaster has SS tubing spacers that will take up most of the gap.

i just screw in 8mmx1.25 heilcoils
done

It's not the easiest to put the bolts on the bottom middle in anyways. I'd do the helicoil

Drilled it to 10mm worked great, I don't ever plan on selling the thing, and even if I did I literally paid nothing for the pipe so any money for it would be profit lol
