Stuffers are supposed to increased intake tract air speed by creating a smaller orfice for which it flows through. As with any bolt on, performance will vary.

Ok BK
it will benteresting to see what you find
i put some in my ski and found it felt slower so i checked with a tacho and i had lost 150 rpm on top and just felt sluggish down low so i removed them
you seem to notice a gain more than a loss
it was awesome to go back to what i had before

I notice group k seem to think they are a good thing but i am not sure how
but i will leave that up to harry and his team

All I can say is it worked wonders for my bottom end taking them out.
Give it a try BK and let us know. I needed no tach to feel the power difference. Very interested on your outcome.

Alright. It appears I have regular (or aftermarket) Mikuni 44's. YAY!!!!

I got regular pulse fittings on both carbs, brass 90s on one, and short straight fittings on the other.

Matt E, I don't think short straight fuel nipples are aftermarket...Could that carb be off a OEM single carb motor? You need to take the carbs off and look at the butterfly #, look to see if you have 3 of 4 hole low speed circuit, and do you have a fine or course thread low speed screws? Are they the same on both carbs? I have seen a lot of stupid carb set-up to save $$ and never get them to run right! Most just end up paying me to solve their problems and then they spend more instead of saving less $$. Save $$ and buy new!

Matt,
If you need new contact Speedfreak he can get them at a great price that is why I went new and sold the ones on my ski.

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
i think both is the ultimate
but when one restricts the other to such a point that it kill hp its not a good thing

They may work on 38s
i havent tried then and since they have less airflow they may not be as badly effected by them

If the stuffers are in fact restricting flow I.E. costing performance, I wonder what my Rad valves are doing to my 86mm Flattop set up w/ the boyeson Mnfld. ? Because they look like just built in stuffers to me.

I'm running a complete OEM setup w/1 screen each. 25 PSI, 120 lows, 110 highs. I tried lower popoff & lost power & snap off the bottom. Same w/122.5 lows. Now I'm wondering if anyone is running higher than 25 PSI pop-off w/an OEM setup?

BTW engine is a 790 Wamilton's Big Bore, 168 PSI Comp., Carbon Tech LT reeds, B limited pipe. Ports are kinda big.:cool2:
