I tried to insure my ski and basically I was told by the agent almost nothing is covered if anything happens in the ocean. All am parts aren't covered. They would only pay the price of the ski which to them is $2200
Edit. This was with gieco

Any more word from the FB page as to the original owner?? I know a lake up near Fresno had to be lowered and all kinds of stuff was coming up. Old settlements and burial grounds, that kinda stuff.

I wonder how it sank with the hood still on?

I know mine has this weird tendency to end up Upside down after high speed wipeouts ( and magicly will Keep running). With the Current (all be it slow) Perhaps a lousy swimmer he (or she) Losses sight of it in rough water, and.... History.

this one looks like it Floated away, so could be Loose fitting at the Stinger, bad hull bushing.

Not that I know of. The hood was securely latched.
Owner has not been located, but it has been confirmed to not have been reported stolen.

The water level is finally allowed to go back up. All repairs to the dam have been completed. I have never heard any follow-up on that Kawi. Sorry guys.
