The nice thing about the enclosed trailer is that you can keep everything staged and ready to go, just drop it on the hitch and you are ready with the entire truck still free for the family. The only real drawback is the drop in mileage and the added load on the truck. I rebuilt both my transmission and engine in the last year and I am pretty sure towing the enclosed on I95 at 80MPH had alot to do with it. I beefed up the TQ and added engine cooling but I plan to ease off the throttle a bit and settle in closer to 70mph for future trips. I'd rather arrive late than on a flatdeck anyday.

Lol, if it was for 1k I wouldn't have had time to post it, I would have been heading to pick it up! I thought the same thing when I saw it at first.

Insulated the walls
1/2" plywood behind the factory paneling
110' shore plug
Atc 12v fuse panel
12v dimmer w/600 leds
Rv door latch

That is a great idea. I would brace those 2x4's with some angle iron. The wood can fail. On our trailer we had to long of a span and had a few runners crack. We ended up adding a cross support under.

Looks great! Im getting a 7x12+3ft v built right now. My 24ft sled trailer is just to big to do quick evening hulls to the lake and i dont want to transport them on an open deck sea-doo trailer anymore (rock chips...falling off lol). Im getting the trailer made to 7ft tall because i want to have it fit through the drive through garage. I have 8ft doors on the front of the house and a 7 ft door on the back (sooo stupid!!!!) so i had to get a trailer company to custom make one. I got them to install angle iron halfway up the walls so i can lay a rack across for bunks 2 on top and 2 below. pictures to follow.

That e-track stuff is nice! I was going to rebuild my supports out of aluminum now that I own a welder but that stuff would be way easier and much less of a profile. Not to mention, infinitely configurable.

Looks good. I see how you're using the pins now....

Will the skis always be on the floor level? I see what BK is talking about with the angle iron. The cross pieces could fail if the skis/boards aren't on the bottom.

Use easy track for the top bunks. Thats what I did makes it easy for top deck removel if you need the trailer and will hold two skis or a bed :)
