Custom/Hybrid Erok's Fast Elements Superfreak Build

Well I finally did it, I decided to pull the trigger and get my dream hull. I can not thank Tem @ www.superfreakskis.com and Steve @ www.fastelements.com enough for all they have done for me up to this point. I have gone through plenty of hulls but this is my first brand new complete aftermarket hull that I have purchased. I have been doing my research and preparing for this for quite some time now. To be honest though, now that it's here and I am beyond excited, I feel like I didn't prepare what so ever. This hull has to be ready to rock for Wavedaze but I want it done in about two weeks so I can have some ride time on it before I ride it in the ocean.

My plan is to dry assemble the ski in the next few days, do as much as I can without wasting too much time. Then I will take it apart and of course make it match the rest of my hulls, pink! Reassemble the ski and turf it, meaning drink beer while I watch my brother turf. This is my plan and I know my plans usually don't work out but this time I really don't have much of a choice if I want to ride it at Wavedaze.

X100 that. It doesn't last at all

Sorry guys I forgot a few little important things, the hull is a -4.3 carbon. While I was still at work not being productive I decided to weigh the hull and hood.
The hull came in right under 56 lbs. and the hood was 8 lbs.

I went with molded black diamond, that original two tone stuff was horrible. The only dilemma I am having is whether or not to turf the rails, just can't decide.

Sick. been waiting on another superfreak build. post a bunch of pics up!.
cant wait to recieve mine

There will be plenty of pictures to come, I will hopefully have a bunch to upload later tonight or tomorrow morning.

Carl's Freak with painted rails looks pretty sweet. But I know I bang the rails on mine frequently enough that the paint would get messed up pretty quickly. In fact, I initially left the nose unturfed (painted).
It lasted for a month before I had to cover up scratches/gouges with turf.
