I have it written down at the cottage. But i think it was 145 pilots 120 mains 2.5 n/s and 1.5 pop off with the 60 in return. And start running at both hi and low at 3/4. I have my lows at half and my hi’s at 3/8 ish

1.5 pop off ??? You Can bump the enhancer 5 degrees up

Ya I mean everybody tunes different but most commonly I think people are tuning the low until they find the off-idle lean bog in the water then going back out a 1/4-1/2 on low screw. If you are too far out or in on the screw, rejet. Assuming you are shutting down motor immediately after full throttle, then reading plugs your high speed tuning sounds correct.

If my low isn’t correct, I guess this could cause the same issue? I’ve been playing with my hi the most.

In my experience, low speed tuning is going to have the biggest impact on the “snappiness”. You need to tune your low speed before messing with the high speed.

I’ll start from the bottom and go from there. It could be my low end for sure.

I’ve ridden a 1000 on stock ignition and it was way more peppy then mine.

What prop would be recommended? I messaged art. He said I was fine with a 7/11 cut back with a stock 155 pump.

I’d expect it to handle that prop just fine. I ran a 7/12ish on a 781 and it was perfect. Granted, that was with a PFP, 215 compression and zeel

How’d you like the zeel? I’m torn between the zeel and a total loss

Zeel will let you run a stock flywheel or you can gut a 760 flywheel and make it total loss easily, plus the zeel is way less money..

I like the fact that you can just swap out the fly wheel and making it total loss or charging. I’m thinking that’s the way I’ll be going. But you don’t see to many people comparing the two. Or I haven’t anyways

So I got a hold of novi, ran their settings with a 60 main jet. Ski is much better. But she doesn’t pull like a 967. Just feels like a glorified 701. What pump and prop are you guys running? I’m also just running a enhancer at the moment. Gonna jump to total loss or the zeeltronics.

Your carbs must be pretty badly out of tune for it to be feeling like a glorified 701. I've built a few 967's and everyone that has rode them has been very impressed with the power. More power than a 10mm 900 comp motor from another brand on race gas, TL and the 967 were all on pump gas with Wax curve on the Zeel.

It’s definitely something I’m doing. Even with a stock ignition, should be hitting much harder than it is. I’m gonna pull them apart and go through them again.

Start from the bottom to the top either that or it’s my sick tuning skills. Lol

if you have too much water going in through your stinger it will load your waterbox up and make it feel lazy. I would make sure you have some kind of jet in the stinger to reduce waterflow and then adjust your temp of the waterbox with your flow control valve so it runs warm but doesnt boil water. i didnt have a jet in mine and it made it super lazy off the bottom even with the flow control

Good to know. I’ve been screwing around with the water box/flow control yesterday. I got it up to a sizzle. But I didn’t think of putting a jet in line as well

The jet screws into the stinger inlet. They cone with a 120 I believe. Just check it’s in there.

So part of my issue was my enhancer. So I’m going to run a stock ignition until I can get my hands on zeel or tl. Does anyone know hoe much advance I can run my ignition?
