Evil Lake Erie Waves

Awesome! I wish our local lakes did that too. Thanks DJ and all the crew for rippin it up!

lol right, there was one day in like early april - late march this year, when it's still wintery enough so there's a lot of wind where the little 2 mile lake I go to had like 3' swells, was a ton of fun. Otherwise it's flat as flat can be. Are all the great lakes like that? I might be making a trip to hang out with PowerRanger for a week or two this coming summer and that'd be sweet.

Backflip would be easier than the giant nose stab i would think. As long as you hit the wave good its coming around.

I pancaked a couple in the ocean and then lost interest (at that time I smashed some stuff and it co$t me!!)....I can't get past stabs/rolls....I just have so much fun riding that I have become a one trick pony...:dead1:

Great video dj. Matt you were ripping it up with those stabs. Nice job to all. Gotta love the fall surf on the great lakes. Spring is great also but very cold water temps

Yes and no......the waves don't have nearly as steep of a face as most ocean waves. I have been flipping on Lake MI the last 3 weeks, but it's definitely a lot harder to find a good wave in our surf than it is out on the west coast.

Yep, the water is softer. Your ski goes 'through' the waves instead of staying on top of it. It's almost like riding in deep mud compared to hard dirt. Salt water is just much more buoyant.
