This industry is make it or break it. One bad review with poor support for a problem can sink you. Long before I even became a member of this forum I gathered knowledge from here and listened to people who had been in the sport a long time. It used to be when you have a bad review it wasn't because you were trying to shine light to something you were making or a buddy was trying to sell but because you used it, it was junk and you didn't want anyone else to go through that. Do research, listen to people that have been in the sport longer then you. Everything is cheaper for a reason. Anyone that has been around long enough knows about all the fails. Remember the stunt hull days? If you don't then you probably would think back yard made hulls are a good deal.Buy what you want, experiment with things that are new and cheaper but don't question reputable sources. If you think his ficters look so good, go buy one and save all that money on a rickter, you probably need it.
I am not interested in this game. My point is, regardless of whether the molds where purchased or copied, the product delivered is often not the same and the customer base (good or bad) is not earned so using the same name is poor form.
I could care less that you are in bed with whoever the new builder of the backie chan is.

the buzzard is back by unpopular demand! I got the fake carbon XFS with the moto-option graphix. its not rickter quality on the finish detail, but its very solid and seems to take a beating. I was huckin it at blowsion surf slam and even darted it twice on big underflips. no damage to the nose except sand rash and chewed rail turf.
jetskihorder/ free form factory informed me that he was the one that designed that graphix kit, but got it ripped off from him by one of his buddies. the entire hull has been ripped off!
