Yeh seems a trek like that is unreasonable with current gas prices. At least for me!

Yes, the beginning of Sept would be better. Too close to the World Finals makes it difficult/impossible for me to come and support the event.

I would think moving your event to the begining of sept would be wise, this allows people to attend your event, then make it to the jeresy ride, and if they chose to go to WF thats up to them, and then of course make it to WAVEDAZE in oct.

I'm going to add another date to the facebook group for Sept 7th-9th. The first weekend is highly unwise due to it being Labor Day weekend, the beach will be slammed with tourists and we will have no beach area for the event.

Too close to the World Finals. I will do my part to be a part of the event and support it in some way but the logistics and scheduling will make it difficult.
