Well, the turf took a lot longer than expected but finally got the ski all ready to run. Not only did we take care of the turf and and under matting. I also make things nice and pretty inside and tried to route wires/fuel lines as nicely as possible.
I was able to get the reserve line, pos batt cable, bilge wiring, carb return line, and the start stop which through the stock yamaha little black protector hose that was provided from the factory. This way, the only thing that runs from front to back on the exhaust side is the ribbed protector I put everything in and the exhaust tube hose.
I also decided to only run a reserve line so Shaun made me up a little billet reserve delete. I've also had problems with a place to mount my limiting rope to my RRP pole that was low profile to prevent damage to my hood. Shaun made me an ULTRA low profile connection point that taps right into the pole. We also made a threaded backing plate for where the Stainless "D-Ring" hooks into the tray to provide more security than just washers and nuts. Heres some quick pics.
Shaun went with the black turf, I went with dark grey. We decided to do a little two tone with our turf to really bring some life into it. I put black on the inside of the footholds while he used my grey. After I laid down the grey matter for the bottom, I wish I would have done that black too but it was too late because the piece had already been cut. Not a big deal and if it bothers me, I have a whole uncut sheet of black molded diamond in Idaho if I want to switch it up.
One of the pictures shows how the carbon lay-up turned out which in my opinion, was very well
