Finally have the ski I always wanted...now what?

In addition to building my new hull, this is what has been going through my head. Every winter I slowly get out of shape only to struggle to quickly regain what I lost in the spring. Some sort of work out routine + a balancing activity is probably the winter rebuilding that is really needed for me...

First time im in a similar situation with the OP. And as for your point, I just dropped $200 on rock climbing gear and at $50 a month I am getting a hell of a balancing activity and a work out.

You guys seem like you like working on stuff and not riding. Here In Cali we never stop. Get a wetsuit on and hit the waves

When I live in Florida, I rode all year long, lots of little tweaks to get back on the water for the weekend but never wanted to take a solid chunk of time to bang out any large projects. Now it's a new build every winter.

I'm at a simular point, my main ski is the most fun I have ever had on a hull. Can do whatever I want and is a reliable setup. I don't see my self ever stop moding the ski though. AlI though I don't need it, I want more power and more billet :).

I was telling my buddy my ski is everything I ever wanted and I need to stay on it another season because it's potential is more than my skill level, I tried out a ski bigger and badder than mine. Short story is that I ate my own words today lol. And I will be soaking in lots of money over the winter hahah

well I sold my xscream last month. so now im down to my SN. thing is I like to do hood tricks AND occasionally flip also. so I think its ideal to have two skiis. big power for flips( high dollar) and a clapped out square for the hood tricks. Perfect world.

I built myself an XFS and it was wrong for me as I couldn't do any of my regular tricks, or flatwater flip it (chicken)!
then I built a carbon FS2 Evo, love it and have really bonded with its handling, all my old school tricks can be done on that ski, even straight in subs on an AM hull! I thought I had lost that one forever, but thankfully I got it back!
So I built the ski of my dreams AND I love riding it!

I am with the guy that said as soon as I stop spending my expendable money on the ski I just dump it into other toys or projects around the house.

You could come back and help me with my builds. Im about 9 years into my x2 projects.

My new hull has been touch and go since i did not until recently possess the knowledge to actually build the mold. Plug is moving along a little more steady now, but realisticlly im 4-5 years in from the first touch of the plug and 7 years in from first concept

I really wish @Nate_D lived closer too. That guy has a raging boner for sanding dust.
