Finally have the ski I always wanted...now what?

Reading this forum over the years I've followed a lot of builds that guys end up selling. Me personally, I haven't tried many aftermarket hulls but the ones I have tried I would not trade my superjet for. In the end it's all about what you enjoy doing. Wether that's a trampoline boat, freeriding really aggressively (me), or just bopping around on your stand up it doesn't matter in the end. What matters is that you have fun and enjoy your hobby for what it is.

I've come across some footage recently putting backflip boats to shame with a high powered superjet. My new goal is a bad azz motor in a stock hull, but that's just cause a superjet is what I dig. Nothin' else like it:p

After a decade of spending every spare dollar I had (or didnt) on yearly builds....I finally built my Rickter in 2010. I have zero desire to build another ski. I spend money traveling to actually ride now! Now I love my Rickter, but for past few years thought AM hulls were actually a waste of money. Then this year spent a good amount of time on a RN and after riding like a squid I realize they do actually make a difference...LOL I still do not know if its $6000 better than a RN, but Im happy I have one.

This will be the first winter in about 5 years that my skis will not be touched (rebuilt, painted). Lol not sure what I will do to keep me busy.

I went through a lot of am hulls and superjets and settled on a Predator and Edge. Both ride really nice and handy in the surf. Some extra maintence here and there as non oem production but thats expected with a kit hull. Superjets have their place. Nothing like a built heavy surf superjet. Darin Anderson's ski is sick! Also look at Tiegos SJ in the 2011 surf slam. Sick what those guys can pull.
