First picture of 2021 Waverunner including Superjet

Wow, I can't believe those graphics are final. The Yamaha logo is not parallel to any other line, and there is no tuning fork logo or anything. Why??

I'm looking forward to the videos tomorrow of the ski running though!!!

From Prowatercraft.com

The new 2021 Yamaha SuperJet HERE! We will be offering a wide variety of handling components for this new, cutting edge watercraft to help elevate your ride.

This all-new watercraft takes the feel of the SuperJet we have come to love and incorporates new, cutting-edge technology. Weighing at only 70 lbs more than the 2020 two-stroke SuperJet — the all new fourstroke Yamaha SuperJet is here to make waves.

THE 2021 YAMAHA FOURSTROKE SUPERJET

Outside of the wild new look, this new watercraft has new features that have yet to be seen in any other hull produced by the “Big 3” of watercraft manufacturers. In 2021, Yamaha went well beyond bold new graphics and has put out something all new with it’s fourstroke SuperJet.

  • WEIGHT: 375 lbs
  • LENGTH: 95.7″
  • WIDTH: 30″
  • HEIGHT: 31″
  • FUEL CAPACITY: 5 GAL
  • ENGINE: 1049CC 3 Cylinder TR-1 Yamaha Marine Engine
  • PUMP: 144mm
  • Other features: Learner mode, Steering Adjustment, Reboarding Handle

Yamaha has dropped their all-new 1050 TR-1 powered fourstroke Superjet. It features a 3-position adjustable handle pole that can extend up to 50mm in length, an all new hull design and adjustable steering nozzle, and a reboarding grab handle in the tray. This all new watercraft is 142lbs lighter and 8.8 inches shorter than the competition. It retails at $9,499 and you can order it from your local Yamaha watercraft dealer.

I'm impressed with the weight. I'd love to give one a try. Not that I'd ditch my XFS, but this could be a great addition to the family.

Comparing the specs to a 2008 SXR is pretty exciting as well.

Dry Weight (lbs/kg) 351 / 159.2
Length (ft) 7.55
Width (in/mm) 28.7 / 729
Height (in/mm) 28.9 / 734.1
Fuel Capacity (gal/l) 5 / 18.9

Still waiting for Dustin's video...

I think they are going to sell really well to casual consumers.

Yamaha promo video with some behind the scenes:

Another video. Top speed 54mph with full tank of fuel.

I don’t really understand the boarding handle in the tray when you have a handle pole.
I bet it's because typically you grab the gunwales to board (or handlebar) and with this new model they're wider and not padded... so maybe a work around? Personally that just seems like another place to jamb your feet or knee on hard fiberglass - no thanks.
