Hey, I noticed that the EXR has a "HIGH OUTPUT" TR1 motor vs standard TR1 that is in all the other EX's and SJ4. What is the difference that makes a TR1 HO?

My guess is the HO has a different tune and fuel injectors. Maybe just a tune.

Prior years waverunners had the HO and not as well (at least 2019 did), so although I don’t know the details of what’s different between HO and non-HO, I do know it’s not new.

Yes, the marketing image shows it's width since the angle has more depth perception which actually makes it looks worse IMO

yup this is my biggest question. it seems like its most likely the same as the spark. its the same engine and a different tune. if we compare the stock spark is 60hp and is easily tuned to 110hp. im hopping the 100hp SJ can be tuned up to 130-135hp easily and safely. only time will tell.

Im hoping to straight pipe it, intake tune and wait for a impeller. i think that will really make up for the extra size and weight

Yes, and I seem to recall when it came out they said it has a slightly modified exhaust
