I would be throwing money away to give you that hull for 3500$ it cost around 7 you would be 1500$ ahead including your 2k loss I thought it was a more than generous offer but if you are happy with the kdx and don't want a phantom there is no helping you

Josh, did you or did you not promise to build my hull, sell it and send me my 2000usd? Then later regret that?
I just listned to that phone convo
I did say that as a potential option. But after some thought, I could never figure out how that option makes sense! What type of weird stalker records conversations? Instead of thread jacking constantly, why not just start a negative thread about a hull builder that attempted to help and was unsuccessful?

That is one hell of an offer. Very generous of you. I know if it was me I would be taking you up on that. you have a beautiful ski.

Sorry about ur thread, but this is what online forums have become! There r always a few guys that just like to stir the pot for no reason. But it does make for good reading when there hasn't been any drama for a while!!!
I wouldn't have any worried from your perspective. I've been recominded by majority of everyone I've talked to to come to you for a hull. Nothing but flawless feedback not to mention the pristine design. Props to you, hopefully you won't have anymore negative feedback. Also hope to handle some business with you shortly

Im pretty sure I mention something about a point where a bunch of people would start telling you how to buy your backflip and what you NEED to get...

I definitely haven't forgotten what you said. Always good to have advice on a decent hull to start with though, and that's where I stand. Still approaching with caution though, like I keep sayin I want to demo before anything. Get a feel for it

for sure man, this industry is full of people ready to take your money. If you do your homework you will be happy regardless of what you end up with. I bought a old aftermarket hull that was then cut really short and hated the way it rode when I first got on it, but im not made of money and learned to ride what I had and now I really like it. This sport is growing so much that it's easy to get new part envy when in reality there is alot of old stuff that can work really great for you as long as you take the time to understand how it all works

Looks like I'm experiencing what you first experienced getting into it. I'm still young enough that parents play a role and they'll have to fund the idea if I convince them. So many aspects, but I'm hoping to get into it young. Will hope to make money off my current ski and use that as well, but it's day and night difference from what I hear, experience and price.

also building a ski from scratch is alot harder then having a superjet and getting an aftermarket hull when you are ready and moving everything into it. Scratch built skis will start to nickel and dime you to death with little things like straps and the hull clips and all the other little pieces that are needed to make it complete, ask me how I know....not saying don't go that route but I'm just trying to be the devils advocate and let you know the stuff others don't.

Agreed...you would get a better deal buying a Ready to Ride AM ski. Then if you decide you want to change the hull, you already have everything else and then you sell your old hull to offset the cost of the new one.

I can confirm...you cannot just buy a carbon freestyle ski, put a small to medium sized motor in it and be guaranteed a backflip.....I know. But, you can definitely flop the Sh*t out of it without much skill!
That was definitely an idea. That way I can be a step closer with the SJ, then when I have enough transport everything to the aftermarket hull. So many options, it's extremely overwhelming because I want the best experience. But I have learned so much just from yall's advice, so I appreciate everything more than words can describe
