Pain, he said. Agreed yesterday that it would have been much better, if it had occurred today, so he could have enjoyed the salt. Not accustomed to seeing anything but a pretty smile out of him. Nor used to failing to have some great ride pics out of him. Band-aide was cute though. Must travel to Pismo I guess.

I skipped Flatwater to stay on the beach. I figured we have plenty of flatwater and I should take advantage of the surf. Mistake on my part. The conditions were good but the waves were crowded. I didn't get enough quality ride time to justify skipping this event. Next year I'm planning to join you guys.
