That is correct my friend. The foam, located in the fuel tank, helps the fuel from sloshing around.

No, cause everybody knows superjets have "waterlogged foam". Water in your carbs is bad. So is sloshing.
But then..... why would you want waterlogged foam in your gas tank?

Yes but there should be no foam inside the pick-up tube unless the foam is disintegrating.

Has anyone been having trouble with the gas sloshing around in their fuel lines?
I just can't seem to keep it running. Tonight i think im going to try Great stuff canned foam.

The foam acts as an anti-sloshing agent. So if you are pro-sloshing, it is time to defoam.
