so from what i understand,the fuel tank foam keeps the fuel from sloshing around the foam in the pick up tube?
but what about the foam in the pickup tube?
If I put foam in my carbs will it keep it from sloshing around in there also, sloshing sounds bad.

The foam acts as an anti-sloshing agent. So if you are pro-sloshing, it is time to defoam.
