I've been thinking about mounting mine like this. The only thing I am worried about is having a little room left behind the dash for mounting a primer. It looks like you have room for that?

I have my fuel selector behind it with plenty of room

my primer i keep in the engine bay...(rarely need it to start my boat)

I wont be running a primer but I believe one would fit it would just have to be mounted a bit high. The clearance is very tight especially with the fuse cap. I need to cut the bolts a bit shorter that the ebox mounts to. It seems like my front foothold is a bit different than others I have seen. It seems to have more of the angled section on the top

Yea it's close but has about 10-15mm clearance

Make sure you have enough room for the nuts of whatever hood latch you use...

Yeah im a little worried about that but worst case I can just make some L brackets so it sits straight up

Minor update. I got my hood hooks and hood latch mounted. I am still waiting for my pump shoe and pole bracket from nick to show up before I can really get started on more stuff.

I hope you tested fitment of ebox facing the other way....?

The starter power wires won't work/fit facing backwards...

I'm sure it'll still fit.... The fuse cap might be a tight fit
