Ok sweet! Gonna have my dad plow some wake on the bigger lake this weekend then. I should definitely make some progress then, even if my trim doesn't work. Pretty sure flatwater and a 701 needs trim..

Question.. Does a flip off of a boat wake count?

Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

Any flip counts as a flip bro! And every flop counts as a flop! Just go for it. I have the "just go for it" mentality down...i just need that thing they call form!

Is that why you put it on, or for something else?
Yeah I put it on to see if it would help quiet it down some. And it helps a little bit. It's still loud, but not as loud. It doesn't hurt my ears anymore

Raised my popoff a few psi and made a different trim cable securing thingy. Drilled and tapped a couple holes for it. It should hold. Bike brake cables are harder to secure than nice cables with threaded ends.. A cable gripper alone isn't enough to hold the cable in place from the jet thrust..

My trim setup worked perfect today! I was soooo stoked and I couldn't believe how much of a difference made. Today I did my first ever back flops. I only did like 3 attempts before I had to head in but it was a blast! I tried once of of a setup wake then twice with a 180 hop then flip. It was painless too, I was surprised. Only problem was that my kart tank slipped sideways and cut off the fuel supply so I'm gonna have to do something about that!

Doesn't hurricane industries make a tank holder? It should fit your ski

Raising my popoff made my ski run better! I was so stoked. It doesn't load up like it used to before I hit a setup wake. It's not perfect in every circumstance, but it's a lot better. I was getting perfect throttle response with my flip attempts today and that's exactly what I needed.

lets go rosie... all this talk and not a lot of action!!! My q8 flipped with a 701 and no trim! (somewhat small boat wake)
Not true.. I've been riding whenever I have time. I have to fix my kart tank but I'm Goin again for a while today. Also going to hit a boat wake today and I'm pretty sure this thing will go around fast.

When you pull trim, and lean back, this hull goes completely vertical so easy. I was surprised how fast it rotated with a 180 hop to flip with no good form whatsoever..

If anybody is curious, this hull doesn't really ride nose high unless you want it to. It's easy to control with just a little weight placement which is awesome.

The last 1/4th of the degrees of the rotation is the hardest.

I believe it. With the nice weather today I'm hoping there's a bunch of wakeboard boats out. I should be able to make some progress then
