Dude, get some more wrestling shoes, You will blow your ankles out without the shoes and break your toes.
Wrestling shoes dont provide much ankle support though? And how would I break my toes? I'm probably going to get some 3-5mm booties is what I was thinking

All I was saying is that the point of a flat spin is the get the nose around you laterally instead of vertically.

Trim would not be the best idea on a ski that is already pointed at the sky....
My ski doesn't ride nose high unless I really want it to.. You'd be surprised.. I never have an issue with the nose being pointed high. Have you ridden a rip other than matts?

I know matts ride plate is dcut which makes a difference.. And my motor is moved a little further compared to the first rips. My ski does not ride nose high. It really doesn't.. Maybe it makes a difference that I'm 160 lbs. But it takes effort to get the nose up imo...the only time the nose ever points to the sky is if I pull trim.

Trim pulled + Flat Spin Attempt + RIP = Awkward barrel roll bail sequence. No trim needed for a flat spin on a rip. You need to get your weight forward and chest over the chin pad.
