For whats its worth, when I bought my pole from DK jr (used on his bob) it had 10" of pole between the Sleeves. I had to shorten it a few inches for the Q8.
Yea, it just looked short in the pic. I just measured my RRP, and I only have 8" of pole in the middle, That sounded weird! lol and I'm thinking of cutting another inch off.

Both big and little d run longer poles than what would be the norm on a short boat. Make it hard for me to ride there stuff.

Yea Sr gave me their measurement on the the pole and I started there and waaayyyy too long. -5 from their setting is what I'm at for next test session.

Well Trevor and I got a little testing in yesterday but unfortunately it was raining sideways the whole time so no video yet. Its been raining here for days and my pond at my shop is so flooded we could only get there like this(see pic)
I was able to flip my ski pretty Damn easy but prop is still way too tall....Powerhouse guru Zack is gonna repitch mine and Trevors props today and hopefully its stops raining and or snowing like its suppose to today and we can get some footage either today or this weekend.

And there was still some ice on the edges of the pond but Trevor played bouy course and sprayed it all to shore:)

Still been miserable up here but got one test session in in pouring rain...again:( I'm gonna try to get on my pond today for a lil testing and tuning with my Riva carbs. I have some Novi 48's on the way soon so not goin overboard to get these Rivas dialed perfect. Otherwise the hull is awesome! Ill probably try to get a few flatwater sessions in in the next week or so....weather looks to be getting better. And as soon as I can get video I promise I will post up asap!

This weather is really chapping my ass im ready to get on the water

Tell me about it!! I did manage to get out for the second time yesterday tho, water temp was 39F air was about 51F and it rained most of the time but it was worth it, now they are predicting more snow for this week

Only 60% chance here tomorrow. You lake riders have it easy all this rain has the mississippi real high with real fast current. Probably be a month before its back to normal provided this rain stops soon.

So its been a while since I've had time to get some ski stuff done but found out my needles and seats were way off and one was junk in my Rivas. And I had a cracked piston due to some bad gas. No cylinder or head damage(Nikasil is the bomb) so I slapped a new piston in, Zack put new needles and seats and I put our new intake manifold on. Ill take a pic this am when I get to my shop of the billet beauty!

A quick test session Tuesday proved to be awesome! Zack pulled a few doubles on it:) with a stock 155 pump!!

My next step is putting a mag pump in that I just got but it needs some tlc beforehand.

Man your so lucky to get any riding in! My ski id still stuck up north with a broken manifold and carbs that were apparently tuned by the last guys 5 year old...... The lakes have been the bomb.com too just no ski to to ride or even work on :(. You finish your bob yet jay up there in no mans land?

After a few more rides out I realized that the duckbill system just wasn't draining fast enough and was causing my hull to hold way to much water. I decided to put a scupper on and no more problems.

Those duckbills are hit and miss. Did you try to find where the water is coming in at? Is it really taking on that much water and how? Looks good on there and when you add long tubes in the liner should be cherry.
