*hurricane, and it will be a winter project, I gotta sell my other ski and buy some nice parts for it, mag pump, trim, etcFrom a recent survey i did people are around 18-35 here. GreenHulk averages 28-56+. Probably why we get a bit higher drama. It sucks putting priorities ahead of a hull, but thats life. At least i get a nice truck to drive and have a running ski, so im not complaining. Hope you get the bob together quick!
Hurricane industries was formerly known as BOB, that's why he used the reference
Well that and they aren't budget hulls anymore lolKids these days.. Don't know any of the sports history! Hurricane is a much better name though.
In price, but from what I have read the quality seems about the same.. =/Well that and they aren't budget hulls anymore lol
I've heard better things about the hurricane I thought? In price, but from what I have read the quality seems about the same.. =/
We're all just jealous we couldn't all have aftermarket hulls when we were 17. Lol.
1. Holy fack! Thats crazy and i'm really glad to hear you're not hurt.
2. I'm 38... and a dad. Don't judge me. Punk... LOL
3. I'm betting your coupler broke on impact, the amount of inertia on the motor had to be substantial.
4. Did you have a limiting rope?
5. Have you had an opportunity to ride a Hurricane? They're fantastic freestyle hulls, you'll be flipping and doing 360's in no time. But its not really FreeRIDE hull.... going from a SJ to a Hurricane without riding one first could be a big surprise. Only speaking from my experience riding one that belongs to a local rider, I found it to be very 'slippery'.
You have a good attitude though, and yeah, getting a AM hull at 17 doesn't suck.
Haha I'm not judging , no I didn't have a limiting rope but I did no flip forward I landed in the tray but the ski was completely sideways and broke the pole by holding on during impact yanking it to the side. And I understand that a hurricane is not a free ride hull I want a hull like this to do tricks on and flip off boat wakes but just stay near one area so I have gas to refill the kart tank. But a lot of us delta nor cal guys just chase ski boats around.
g3's and canes ride very different. However i know @Mdavies_02 chases boats at full pin like ive never sen on a -7 freak, so if thats possible it can be done on almost anything.I have a gen 3 bob and while wot is very difficult (figure mine does about 50-52mph) it is so wide and stable that crusing around and chasing down boats isn't bad.

Totally dude! I rode with a short pole. This was after 5 minutes of riding it and the first time I hit the throttle with a limited 701 and total loss lolI agree, very stable even at very low speed. Pole was long for me so i couldn't get the full experience, but when i could get the nose down i love that ski. First time i tried a 180 hop i decided to try a flip and ended up upside down off idle, which blew my mind as ive never even tried it before. Also the sideways twist of the ski when hitting the throttle was so weird. ive felt a difference riding some AM hulls to a SN, but nothing like this ski, it didnt even feel like it was there it was so light, felt like an empty hull! Id like to back to back compare to a cane, purely because of their following and reputation. I know marc says the G3 to cane is no comparison and a much better ride.
