Man...if only you can hear the sigh I just let out. Hopefully this is a lesson to people out there looking for hulls. Choose wisely and do your homework. Also I would agree on a single deposit and make sure it was paid with something traceable and refundable. Sorry to hear your bad luck.

I really do appreciate all the positive responses. i didnt know what kind of response this would get. It was almost making me sick. G-ski has been backing me up every step of the way. Some days i think he was more mad about this situation than i was. I was debating not posting any sort of review at all. I counted this as a $4k loss and was going to move on with it.
I can not emphasize enough to support the big or small companies doing positive things for our small sport. Ive never been "hooked up" , sponsored, or received any handouts so a purchase like this really puts a road block up. The last few years have really taught me that you get what you pay for. Or in this instance less than what you pay for.

And I know if that happy ending comes Smitty will tell the whole world about it. He just wants a ski to ride.

I am really sad to read this. I had high hopes for this hull, and builder to take off and help grow the sport offering a hull at a great introductory price for those looking to get into freestyle. Who knows maybe it's just a learning curve and things can only get better. Sorry to hear about your misfortune Matt.
Maybe it's just a warning to others not to give any money to the Freestyle Factory or "Backie Chan".

I agree on this. But Honestly I do not think they care. Yes, They have split up. I saw the 2 ski's they had at WF. Was totally blown away by them. The one that was together with a motor in it was horrific. The very idea you would put something like that on display.

I really hate this has happened.

Thanks for sharing and sorry to hear this. Yet another hull/builder added to the list to stay away from.
The stand up jetski community is too small to not worry about quality,customer service and reputation.
I hope they dont sell another single hull

The older I get the more my naivete melts away and I realize that genuine a holes really do exist.

That's really to bad. I was hoping that someone would bring the chan back in a good way. After seeing these in Daytona and reading about your deal I'm pretty sure that is not going to happen. Sucks because they are a pretty cool hull. Good luck with it. Hope you get everything figured out.

Glad you posted. I hate how people are afraid to post up their honest opinions and experiences. For what, afraid to burn a bridge with someone in this small sport? The good companies will stand behind their product. It'll get taken care of before it comes to this point. IMO, if an issue has to come to the point of being posted here, that manufacture, dealer, whoever has already burnt that bridge. I've said it before, there are a very select few I am willing and trusting to purchase product from.

Personally, watching one of this dudes "twisted, mangled, brah" whatever the hell he calls his videos was painful enough for me. I couldn't imagine having to deal with either of these two guys in a situation like this.

We'll dang, I wish this hull could get a break. The name carried so much stigma and now this. If this company Is even remotely serious about the sport or their business they need to fix this.

Sorry to hear about this Smitty, maybe something positive could come out of this? Sounds like you guys are fixing all of the issues, maybe you can help out a newb with a good price and cut your loses?
