This is the ride plate I was given with my Chan. I never beached the ski or hit anything with it for this to happen. The quality and fitment of the plate didn't allow it to last. As you can see it was installed properly and no bolts fell off.

I thought "no big deal, poop happens". Luckily I was given a 2nd ride plate with my purchase. I installed the 2nd ride plate on the hull, cut it nearly flush. Used about 1/2 tube of silicone on it just to be safe, then went to ride. This ride plate had 25 minutes of ride time. No joke. This ride plate was literally installed, dried, then taken to ride on FLAT WATER. There were no hard landings or rough conditions. As you can see, the bolts are still attached and were tight.
I contacted backie chan, the company and asked them what to do since they with held the molds for the ride plates. I was kindly told that I wasn't welcome to deal with them because of my "Chan review" and the supposed "lies" that I've told.

I was told by the company and was bashed by one of Garys workers that "I installed the ride plates wrong".... I can assure you %100000 that i installed these correctly. If i hadnt, i would gladly admit it was my mistake. Im not one to lie.
It's such a shame that an up coming company has to publicly bash one of their customers and say that "the customer is a liar" when it's far from the truth. I had faith in them and it kicked me in the a$$.
If you make quality products, believe in them, and treat your customers with respect, you will make it.
Do research before you spend hard earned money.
