I swear no one on these forums will ever learn. Why would you ever buy a product from someone who has no idea what they are doing.... No idea how to work fibreglass or carbon, no idea how a hull even works, and no idea how to even ride a freestyle ski. Anyone that seen pictures of them knew they were abortions, and seeing it in havasu was even better. I'm seriously not one bit surprised, and I'm not trying to be a dick. People need to stop being so damn cheap and naive, buy a hull from a builder that doesn't have extra chromosomes floating around, #success. If this happened to me I'd take it back and if they didn't give me my money back I would take double what it's worth out of their shop. Man up and go get what's yours.

Also I know a bunch of licoriceing plugs are going to go order more hulls even after reading this. They will have a variation of many stories "they fixed all the issues and the next hulls will be mint", "there's two sides to every story", "his post was bullpoop"......

Just be smart, there's nothing left in this hull anymore, it's toast, it's done, finito.

This sucks to see happen to good people. BUT i do totally get what sausage above is saying he nailed it. There are plenty of proven quality great hull builders out there. Why do people insist on buying dirt cheap hulls from people with no experience.

So many good hulls out there you have major companies to choose from. Krash, Rickter, Tiger craft, Rage.... just to name a few!

There will always be a market for $3k hulls purely because not everyone can swing a $6k+ hull but everyone wants to flip. I am one of them, the chan was at the top of my budget, id love a edge! And a ferrari, and a mansion. Stupid bills!

I guess there is a lot more to building hulls, than just buying the molds? Who'd a thunk it?! I think that is what most people need to see, and that's why prices for quality skis are where they are! I'm no hull builder but I appreciate greatly the work that goes into a well built hull!

Haha yes imagine that. And truthfully most these companies like this it's not their full time job. It's a side job/hobby. The sport isn't nearly big enough to support what 90 Am shops/companies now full time? More like a few over a handful are full time.

Jrock and sausage i agree with you guys %100. You absolutely get what you pay for. Ive been learning that through almost every purchase weather it be parts, skis, or hulls. Every company starts from the bottom though. This one will most likely stay there too.

I think now more than ever maybe this sport and website needs a Phantom Gourmet type thread . Somewhere where people can somehow anonymously post a review or opinion or picture or video or rumor for all to see and reply about. Not necessarily negative , could be good or spy photos or whatever. I saw some things at Daytona and WaveDaze and WF that I think is good info for people in the market for certain things but drama sucks and opinions get a rude welcome around here , even if you really mean no ill effect from it. I saw the chans at WF and they were nice guys but he openly told me and a few others standing there a couple things that made me think whoa , that's pretty revealing info by the company owner.

That makes me sick to my stomach reading this Smitty, I can just imagine how you felt. So sorry it had to come to what it did... and it's just not right how you were treated.

I looked at those hulls at WF and talked to Greg for a few minutes, but thats about it.

Sorry about what happened. I know full well the struggle one feels concerning leaving bad feedback. Its your last resort. You try to be reasonable and find a compromise with someone. You have to pretty much give up all hope of the seller/ builder doing the right thing. It sucks to have to get to that place. Especially if you're a laid back guy... Cause i'm wound up tighter than a guitar string and I still hated having to deal with this stuff.
