where is the fun in all that. Hash, RE-HAsh, we need a place to stir the shiot. No one makes ya read them all. You could just see the thread, know that you have read it all before and go on, never to get to read what someone new may have to say or read some banter bs that may come from it.

just think, now there is another thread that will come up in the next guys search.

Anyways we let owners speak for them selfs, you post a thread pic off the fit and finish of the BOB, im sure you picked the best one out there and made look good, and no one told me shiot about a bob , I seen myself, and they are not all this you are saying,
I rode Bob gen 1 one the worst hull I ever put my A$$ on it, really bad finish and hadling, skis was falling apart and you guys took it back from the costumer, because was really bad (great costumer service) , and the turf was really custom just like EME, lol
the Gen 2 I had the chance to ride at Body beach I didnt even waste my time. Im not saying is bad hull, but
and no one here said the freak was easy to assemble, and the finish is not 100%, probably will never be, but I bet you my nuts, the SUPERFREAK out stand any hull in the maket.

whoever is buying a hull really should go out and try the ski, there is a bunch of great names out there with great costumer service

Guys that want the best? You mean the most expensive? Because last I checked BOB won the AM Freestyle at Worlds, finishing ahead of SuperFreak, Rickter and EME...

I've only been competing for 5 years. I started on a WDK Rev when I was 13, when I first started riding, obviously I had a lot of training to do, lol. Between school in the winter and work in the summer, I didn't get the chance to ride all the time, so I saw skiing as more of a hobby than a competitive sport. I did terrible at Havasu on my Gen1 because I was racing the regional circuit that year (took 3 regional racing titles that year), so freestyle wasn't a priority, until I realized I could have done better.

Gen1 wasn't our greatest work, because they were our first hulls. I really wish you would have ridden my hull so you could see what BOB is all about, I know you would have liked it.

come on you really think if the conditions had been decent like the pro's had you would be #1?

would have been Alex, Lucas & Jack and not in that order but those would have been your top 3... those guys had a bag of tricks, not just 360 's done over & over & over

They may have not been the best conditions but he took the cards he was dealt and won a national title. Quit being a bunch of cry babies and give the kid some credit. Not to mention if the bob is so inferior in performance, fit, and finish why did lucas and alex not walk away with the title even in $hitty conditions ????

Why is there like 3 or 4 guys that show up in every aftermarket hull discussion and bash the BOB? Then it seems the same group will talk about the godlike ski that is the superfreak? Then to knock a guy that won on the wrong hull?

I think this is more about what ever current hull they are ridding, it is the best.

Then why bash a hull you've never ridden?? And don't say you've never had the chance to because we were at body beach with 2 skis that we were demoing all day long, and you were just a few yards from us.
I really take offense when people say the BOB is t a good hull for anything and the only reason why people buy it is because it's inexpensive. BOB won the West Coast National Stop, AM Freeride at the IFWA Surf Slam, and even Amateur Freestyle at the World Finals. What more do you guys want from us??

To bash a hull...

Rickters , fit and finish top notch... Don't always hold up depending on version, etc. ski builds like a stock ski, heavy...
Superfreak badass, best all around ski IMO, fit and finish not on par, weight to strength top notch, pita to build, tray leaks
Matrix, fit and finish top notch..builds just like a stock ski, little heavy IMO, fun ski to ride, great surf ski
Superfreak Gen 1,2 what ever.. Decent hull but harder to ride, not stable like the newer badass, still hard to build, fit and finish not on par...

Superfreaks take a lot of time to prep for paint, fitting the hood.. Tem is very up front with this and will tell everyone the same thing.

Lenzi, haven't built one.. But have ride time on one. Fun ski to ride, would love to own one, really cool ski IMO , could be lighter

Rok, haven't built one.. But have few rides on one.. Fun ski to play in the surf, wet ride, will sub nose in turns which reminds me of a RN.

q8 sky, ski looked great, fit and finish was fine, eme turf sucks so you have to turf it, very hard ski to enjoy riding flatwater, not stable at all, just didn't have the pop like most flatwater skis.

BOB G1, rode one of these in GA, hard ski to ride around, footholds sucked, just wasn't something I could make myself like.. I under stand the gen 2 rides night and day better maybe I'll get to try one... No one around here has one.. I will say the gen 1 broke, was replaced, another buddy is a dealer both his BOBs broke within 2-3 rides

WCF vision ... Buddy has one, ski is holding up well, this one was the first one. More to come on that ski

WDK rev, my buddy had one, hard to love this ski, not stable, can't ride WFO with out getting launched , ski held up good for riding in the surf..

WDK F1 pro carbon, very light ski, not stable like a wider ski (Xfs, freak, etc), fun to ride flatwater, pretty much a one off ski..
Stunt... Can't say a lot about them, lots of water in the face, not a fun ride

Must be a lot of money bags down my way, we got 2 XFS's, 2 FS2, 5-6 freaks, Lenzi, trinity x2, trinity matrix, F1 pro all within 60 miles of central FL
