how many gallons of clearcoat is on there holy chit. what color turf???

I believe Tony used:

1 coat of acrylic - to fill in any scratches etc
1 coat of two part epoxy high build primer
1 coat of of enamel with a flex addative
1 coat of clear

going with black turf in the tray and side rails, with the OEM rubber nose piece and hydro-turf chin pad - black as well.

the handle pole is black too

cool looking color, it will look real good with the black turf. It's also nice to see the sun shining into your garage. Summer time and the livings easy.

yeah, it was finally decent out... cooler the past two days now... which sucks. I wish it would just get warm and stay warm.

Brian dropped off my SS pole bracket backer plate yesterday, so i'm back on track to have it together by the weekend.

pump, motor, exhaust and electricals are all in now... just need to install the tank, wire up the bilge pump, finish the last couple cooling lines and turf that focker!

My new WDK chin pad will be here next monday too.

On a side note, i am not real happy with the way my -6" AC pole looks on the new ski. with it being so short, the bend in the pole actually does not allow the pole to sit all the way down inside the hood... so it looks kinda funny. I have to build a shock pad for it too, so it will actually end up sitting even higher. I guess i'll just have to ride it and see how it feels... it won't matter how it looks if i like the way it feels. But you can see in the pic what i mean.

Also, I just picked up a new 61x cylinder to replace the one I broke on my other RN. Also have an ADA girdled head on the way for this one too.

I should have both skis ready to go by next week.

That thing looks unbelievable from what it looked like when you picked it up from me. Can't wait for some free time so we can all hook up and ride all our new skis.

Pole does look weird. Is a -4 with short -2.5 or -3" steering not enough for your ape hangers?

I put my -4" Xmetal ontop of the wammer hood yesterday and went "DAMN". Going to be a good reach for me.

LOL

My other ski is a -4" AC pole with short turn plate and straight bars. This one is a -6" AC pole with a short turn plate and straight bars.

I like it short like that, although longer rides makes my back tired.
