I would, but yours is quite a bit longer than mine and I like having easy access to the tailgate. I have a short bed, so my deck is only ~70" long
I have to thank you though, you were my motivation to build one...now I want a nice metal version to replace my wood v1 deck.

If you build a metal one I recommend building a box frame inside the bed to support the weight. My ski deck is not actually sitting on my bed sides. I'll post a pic in a few with the tailgate open.

That was my plan. My wood one has a couple supports built down to the bed, and also rests on my bedsides.

@OCD Solutions and others do you notice a scary big handling difference with weight this high? I’ve almost got mine done but I’m a little concerned since it will be on a 1/2 gmc. Mine will fit two blasters or three stand ups.

I only got to use mine a few times before I sold the truck but it wasn't bad with just 2 skis. My truck had rear sway bars and airbags though so I'm sure that helps.

Yeah didn’t know if it made 75mph on the high way a little to much or not. Sounds like I’ll just slow it down a bit in the mountains.

Dually's are rock solid! I used to run around 100mph with 2 sleds on my deck and there was no roll whatsoever.
The only time I ever got scared was when I strapped my 300 gallon water tank (2500 lbs) to the top of my deck instead of taking the time to pull it. $2 worth of water left the level about 12" from the top and allowed for way too much sloshing around.
From that point forward, I spend the extra dollar to top the tank right off.

Wasn’t a huge difference but you sure noticed that extra weight up top when there’s two or three skis. A little different with a lifted truck since a it’s already high up.
I’m switching to a dually so it should be an improvement
