First run went pretty well, almost completely broke-in. Overall I like the ski, but it'll take some getting used to coming from a rec ski.

I’ve tried to tell him. He won’t listen to me. Says straight bars are uncomfortable lol

The skulls matched my last ski well lol. Yep, they sweep up and back, they are custom made bars. I have some new rrp non riser bars on the shelf, but for now plan to run these.

Went for a second run yesterday, 80F weather was nice. I have 1 hour run time on the engine, about 6 gallons of fuel. I'm liking the ski more already, just need tray time. I ran into a few issues already, figured as much lol.

The brand new thrust tank gasket has already swollen and now is leaking fuel, guess I'll have to cut my own.

My front airbox rubbed the hood, so for a quick fix, I melted it and smashed it down, I'll probably make a custom one out of carbon fiber.

My midshaft is getting hot, I think it's because my driveshaft is bent about 1/32" or less, I was hoping it would be fine till next winter, but I guess not, so got new shaft coming from maniac.

Pulled engine and pump Saturday, replaced bent driveshaft and rode Sunday, my midshaft is no longer getting hot :D

1.5 hours on the clock so far, each time I ride this thing, the more I like it, pretty much have flatwater 360 figured out, need to get the motor dialed in a little better and move on to flatwater flip.

Good deal on figuring that out. So how warm does it get with a straight shaft?

did you notice a difference in vibration replacing the shaft?

No difference in viberation, shaft was only bent by .020". After idle, it's pretty smooth like most skis.

On the midshaft issue, which part of the midshaft assembly did you detect the heat in ? I Want to check mine, thanks

I touched the midshaft itself. Be careful checking it, mine was 180F with bent shaft.

Forgot I did take some photos.

Can see where the splines made marks in one spot of my new midshaft.
