anything i can do to make bob's (the pipe builder) life more difficult im all over- plus if nothing else it will look blingy:Banane09:

sounds like an excellent reason for duals. :Banane01:

I'll be watching this thread closely, I hope it turns out well. I'd love an fx1 66e ski with a conversion hood.

Here are some more pics of the defoaming process we started last Wednesday. Gonna hit it again tomorrow night and get the motor mounts all glued back in. The other pics are Yamahammer's 4x4 (what used to be a Toyota pickup). We had to go hunting so its slowing down the process  but we'll be back on it with more pics to come

did you cut the mounts out of a donor ski ? as you glued THE MOUNTS on the surface how will you deal with the height difference in reference to the output shaft coupler ?? and what glue did you use ! every thing looks good BTW !

we used a 3m glue that they use to glue doors and body panels on cars...ask bonzia bob what the number is on it i can't remember...good stuff though..maybe it's 8115 two part glue, can't remember...thanks for all the compliments everyone...it makes this project much more enjoyable to work on without all the haters dogging it...more pics to come as the work progresses...

What height difference? Those are the stock FX-1 mounts, we just took them loose, cut them in half, lined everything back up and re-glued everything. Not a problem. Here's a pic of the epoxy we used:sneaky:
