Garage setups - Making the most of space - Skis, bikes, tool boxes , work bench

So I would assume many of us have several skis / toys, tools, work benches, and are constantly working on stuff, etc. My current roommate and I share a two car garage and we fill it up pretty good by the time you add both of our skis (2 standups and 2 blasters), my bikes, his quad, both of our tool boxes, and workbenches along with misc other stuff kept in the garage. The skis are all kept on rolling carts and we have a 4 place trailer we store outside. We are getting ready to move and obviously looking for the biggest garage / amount of storage possible but Im curious to see what some of you have done to maximize your garage space? Have seen a few pretty creative racks but just curious to see what else everybody has done and possibly steal a few cool ideas!

let me see if i can find a picture of my setup. I have a 8ft bench, double stack tool box, Superjet, two motorcycles and a corvette all fit along with all our trash cans, snow tires, lawn mower and other misc crap. In a 2 car single door garage.

But can you move around in there to get anything done...?

Yep! If i move the mower out and the recycle bins out i can work fully on the ski. If i back the car out theres room for days, and the car will get pushed into the snow if i need the space :)

I would have plenty of room if I could get rid of all the baby crap we have.. You would think those a-holes that make baby poop could at least make it stack able or easy to break down...

Mine isn't the biggest at my new place 16x20 perfect for two ski's but does need to be bigger hopefully get it all insulated and plywood up on the walls and painted as soon as I am done doing the roof on my house

I moved a few month ago, this was the old setup. Cabinets from the kitchen make good garage cabinets/workbench. Currently in a rental home for a few months so not really trying to do anything to it.

New place (rental): One ski is in the enclosed trailer, the other one is still with the hull manufacturer.

congrats. What size is your new garage going to be? I kick myself for buying a house with just a single car garage. What was I thinking? I still manage to fit two skis and my wifes Xterra in there though.

definitely some nice setups! I definitely need better storage racks for parts / oils / lubes. Definitely want the cork board on the wall behind bench for tools / parts to hang. Definitely digging some of the garage wall art too!
