We all use HT and lots of it. Anyone use Gator Grip? What are the likes/dis-likes of each? I do NOT want to start a pissing match here-I want dead honest and sincere opinions.

I will start with mine

A 40x62 sheet of HT is 60.00 + shipping.
A 42x64 sheet of Gator Grip is 99.99 + shipping.
HT has alot of color options
Gator Grip has 8 color options
Both companies are on the West coast

Does one hold up longer than the other? Is cost the biggest issue?

so what I'm reading here is GG is 1/3 more money for the same product as HT with fewer color option. Also HT gives back to the PWC community in a HUGE way.

that being said... I know where my money is going.

not trying to flame. just stating an economic fact.

HT ain't ever given me dik except inflated ass shipping prices. What have they given you??

The gator grip I have on my blasters looks to have held up well over the years. I don't know this for a fact because I have never installed GG, but it is substantially thinner and looks like it would be easier to mold to contours than HT.

The gator grip kits are not that expensive for skis...like 79-89 bucks. However, the sheets are more expensive.

I have Gator Grip on my 650sx and looks cool, but the price is still high...I bought it off a friend for cheap, so I used it. I just ordered HT and have been pleased with the product and price....

i think that is a good point. i would be willing to use it on a build just to see if that is true/how nice it held up if they had a different texture! lol the color limitation i can deal with...im not putting something that looks like cobblestones on my ski though.

i think if i had an old 550 or something like that it would be perfect to build a super bright neon like retro 80's style build.

If we could get some better prices on GG sheets for members of the X, I would definitely get some for when I redo my blaster exterior in the near future!

I'm liking this!

I can personally vouch for this ,I am now sporting a yellow key fob from HT,it is possible that if you attended a freeride, you could be sporting something as well,I guess it should be restated to say that HT supports those that support the sport, nuff said.

I support this sport. Heck, I've spent over 20,000 dollars on standup related stuff over the past year alone!. I'm sure I have spent more on HT inthe past 2 years than you have in the past TEN! So tell me..... how do I need to support this sport?
