yea any weight you can lose on the rotational mass is a great improvement

i know she had her impeller thinned if i remember right

flywheel will make much faster rev...

also i assume light weight PTO n midshaft couplers would help... but ive never tested side by side so cant 100% vouch for them

I do have the light wieght couplers. I plan on getting the flywheel done by zero. Its on my todo list.

Motor is officially in, shimmed n all. Total loss is just about done. Super cool learning how to do all the wiring. Glad byeai is super patient with me!! ♥ going to be drilling for the water bypass fittings, doing the front bow eye, cutting the hose from waterbox to exhaust outlet today. Minor setback with steering cable, thought we had the right one. We are picking up a new one from a friend tonight. It's almost there guys!!

You may or may not know this, but carbon is conductive. I don't know what effect that has on TL... but I wanted to mention it. I would assume its better to have it mounted on something that is inert.

Also, given the success rate of the AG batteries with charging systems (much less TL systems), are you 'painting yourself into a corner' so to speak with a battery box designed for a AG battery?

Love the build and the progress, let me know if you have any Chan related questions.

its a rhaas dampener. I actually bought that at the first daytona freeride we went to.

Well we have 2 Ag batteries. We have heard many sides to the story of Ag batteries. We are going to hope for the best! We have a few tricks from the grape vine that really work so we shall see.

As far as the board goes, we are either going to do it in carbon or get a sick box from Raddudes. Not sure. But thanks for the heads up. :)

How long have you ran your ag with these new found secrets? Hahaha

Give it a few months until the terminals break apart

Would be cool though to share your secerets on how to keep your ag battery for other people still running them.

It's not a secret. Lol just do what you would do with any battery. Charge when it needs it. Don't go below a certain voltage. I personally don't like to leave my batteries on the charger but that's me.

Found out the hard way about conductive properties of glass. Buddies Freak has Carbon all on the inside, His battery is in the same place, his Solenoid is mounded to the positive terminal with a metal plate.......Tricky Trick....... well, in trying to install cable, Chris kept seeing smoke, could not find. He would start to hook it up, smoke would appear, he would stop, go away.............. I started to mess with it, he had one of the Ballistic batteries, thinking something going on with it at the terminals. Well, I was looking at the wrench and noticed it touch the side of the hull, very little room down there.......... poof smoke............ Dohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Haha I did the exact same thing in my chan. Panicked at first before I realized I was touching the side with my ratchet.
