ok guys here is my full review of the ski and the build. This will be a completely un-biased review and if anyone has any questions feel free to pm me or call me. A quick run down, this is a lightweight carbon kevlar Backie Chan with a PHP 898, MSD TL, PFP, Novi 48's, and a 144 Solas Mag stator section.

-Amanda and Brad did a really nice job assembling the ski, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of quality work they did before i got there. I gave them a B grade. I fixed, tweaked, and put my finishing touches on everything. They still need to button up a few things, like some hose clamps, re-route a few things and totally re-do the MSD mounting plate.

-Zack at Powerhouse made Amanda to really nasty full amatuer competition level motor. Its running 225 compression and full 110 octane gas. Zack has certainly does his R&D on his setup, his jetting reccomendations were spot on and a little tweaking it was good to go. It hits really realy hard, and with a little work on her timing Amanda will be flatwater flipping this no problem. With a future 148 pump it will be an even better setup.

-Steve and his crew at Trendsetters did a really nice job with the hull, based on all the hulls i have built from all the different builders, this was one of the better ones. Amanda and brad beat the crap out of the hull for 2 hours yesterday and again today and everything held up nicely. Its a fun flickable yet stable hull. The ride plate didnt really fit that great but I already talked to steve and he already has a new mold, so nothing to worry about.

-Overall this is a totally NASTY competition level ski that anyone would be happy with, its light, strong and wants to rip out of your hands when you grab a handful of throttle. She is only running the 144 Solas mag section and soon will be upgrading to a 148 pump and it is only gonna get better. Congrats to everyone that was involved and good luck Amanda, ya better kick some AZZ!!!

Alright guys. First off just wanna say thanks to Chadgnarly for being awesome. Taking time so close to holidays to fine tune and perfect the ski. Raddudes are such huge supporters, could not of done it without em! And thank you to everyone out there who has helped with this build. My main supporters and all the smaller ones all came together in the end. Tight nit community.

The ski was everything I imagined. Not only stunning paint work but amazinly stable as well. I had no problem jumping right on and up. I think I may shorten my pole though. The hull is overall amazing quality. Like Chadgnarly said, ride plate issues are being fixed. Steve is already on top of it. No need to be a spider monkey. ;)

The Php 898 was phenomenal. I was not expecting such power in this ski. I spent a lot of money on it clearly, I should not of under estimated it. The ski has insane power and it rips like you wouldn't believe. This is no doubt a perfect amatuer competition level motor. I think with a tad bigger pump I will be flying high.

And yes. We got a b!! Thats awesome. What we missed chadgnarly picked up and we made a few trips to Jetmaniacs pad to grab some parts. Super glad he is always a huge help.

Pictures and short vid to follow. Working in setup wake during next few days. Advice?

I find that my chan makes better setup wakes at a speed that I would consider too fast. That's hard to explain, but I always thought a slower/ more nose high ski angle would render the biggest wake. In my limited experience, it seems to be a cleaner wake at just a little over the speed required to get on plane. But with the trim pulled. Hope that makes sense.

Its mainly practice tho, and there's a lot to remember once you get to the wake, so just take your time, think out the steps, then try again.
