Maybe because its a girls build, maybe not, but really awesome that two experienced competitors are in here giving advice. That's why the X is cool IMO.

It's a lot more than two experienced competitors here.......(theres a ton of experience here).....but regardless of the official number, it's a great place for info :). Some things are a "truth", and others more of a style/preference thing, but it gives Amanda a big bag of tricks to choose from. I wish I was 90 lbs like her! She should rock that thing very soon :)

A bit of success as far as set up wake. Still need practice. Day 3 a success!!

that water your standing in looks like used motor oil.
you need to work on just set up wakes, getting the ski to climb higher, forget about the flip for a bit. Your launching farther than you are high and you cant flip 900's like that. your getting like 3 feet of vert and 10 of distance, needs to be the other way around. Hard to explain kinda

Hi Amanda,

Its Jessi here (dont have an account here so do it with my boyfriends account) got some advice for you and putted a movie from my first flip on setup wake i think you need to slow down a bit and push the nose down and then lean back while leaving the wake then look back and pull the bars.

Regards Jessi

Jessi is right. You just need to slow down and let the ski settle into the water and let the motor do the work.

Nice job on the flip Jessi!!!

Thanks guys. Yeah turbo I get what u mean. I gotta get the technique down pat. Almost there! And the water was really merky. Lots of gators too! Haha

Gators where you are riding!?!?! That would definitely have taught me to flip fast and never be off my ski!!! You're a die hard chick!:)

There are gators everywhere here in fl. We were at Fox lake. I didn't see any but when the sheriff's and Florida water guy stopped by they called us crazy for swimming with gators! Every time I fell I never got back on my ski so quick. Ninja style !!

Lol! We rode in a lake about 5 years ago that was used for cooling a powerplant and they had caught 2 piranhas that were prolly 15 inches +! I was into buoy racing at the time and didn't fall in much but when I did I jumped on so fast and once I hit the bottom with my foot and thought it was a fish and freaked for a second! I watched too many Jaws movies lol!

We rode with blue earlier this year. Amanda and Bradley were there. they told me the name of the lake when we got there. Gator lake. Then, when we were dropping our skis in the water, blue tells me he saw one that morning about 15 feet from where we were standing. Damn, Floriduh

Maybe it's a good thing that retro suit I have for sale doesn't fit ya. Don't need to draw anymore attention to ya with the gators and all lol

Like they said, practice your wake, and slow down. Less speed will help you to rotate quicker. Looking good so far!
