Do a yahoo or google search for larry's pistol and pawn in Huntsville AL.

A example of their prices-Ruger Super Redahawk/stainless/9.5" barrel/44mag/ retail from Ruger is 1049.00, Larry's=779.00
S&W 500mag hunter/retails for 1550.00, Larry's price is 1049.00

Larry's is 1 hour from me and the cheapest place in the country for guns. LOL

Their website is not updated with inventory very often. Call and they can tell you in 5 seconds if they have what you want.

Crazy.... Must be a Texas thing. Guns prices are fair, selection is amazing and there is a major gun show nearby about once every two months.

Something about being able to walk around and handle nearly every hand gun imaginable. I know instantly what feels comfortable.

I had a taurus 24/7 pro and hated it. So un accurate and like said before would rattle around when you shook it. My dad ended up giving me a Colt military 1911 .45 and freaking LOVE it

I have found with guns you generally get what you pay for. I always look at guns as an investment do yourselves a favor and only buy quality firearms

I love my Beretta 92. Have not had a single jam or malfunction even when using low-grade ammo. Smooth trigger pull and I am pretty accurate with it. Was hitting a target at probably 100 yards with it this weekend. Not a lot of muzzle flip and the weight feels great in my hands. I also have a set of Hogue oversize grips on it that are nice and comfortable. Trigger pull is much lighter than a factory Glock.

From previous conversations with LEO, it is probably not a wise idea to do a lot of modifications to a defense gun unless it is to enhance reliability. So lose the Punisher or skull and crossbones grips. Apparently juries have been swayed by BS arguments that the grips signified that the gun owner was looking to kill.

I have been reading/searching online for days and i found i really like the 1911 combat commander from colt but i dont see myself spending a grand on a gun right now. Also like te glock 23, i still need to get out and just hold/fire and ge my feet wet

So we had a big gun day at a members farm land, and I had a chance to shoot a XD9 (with a ported barrel) and a Glock 19 back to back. I have to admit, the Glock is a shooter. Less muzzle flip, and recoil felt = faster follow up shots.

Not trading in my Kimber.... But I'm just saying the Glock isn't bad.

My glock is way more accurate than my xds cant comment on recoil though as they are two different calibers

I have a Khar or kahr 9mm, I forget how to spell it, but I like it, its easy to handle and conceal. It doesnt like the cheaper amo though, it jams up alot, but never with the good stuff like hollow points. Im not sure if that is normal for other guns, I dont believe so. I keep it loaded with the good stuff when put away. Although if something whent bad im just going to grab my sawed off mossberg. I dont even have to be good with that one, lol.
