The guys at Titan told me that more details will be going on the eb site real soon, but they are completely snowed under at present.

Basically the stock systems will fit, but thye also have their own version too, a carbon chin pad is being developed right now and will also be available soon.

There will be zillions of pics coming as studio shots to show all the details and fixings which will show th true quality of this component.

Mines ordered, i have seen it and its un real, the shape, feel, quality and ....... well those stainless tubes did it :)

I guess keep an eye on the site, I will find out when the pics are done and post up for you. If any of you guys have questions, I can forward them on as I know doc sprok real weel.

Just a heads up, the adjustable xmetal poles are back in stock I believe for a short time. Just got a email from xscream and ordered mine yesterday, I'm sure they're going quick. I was one of many they said that was on a waiting list to be notified when they got em back in stock.

I got details on the Xmetal pole and to be honest was not overly impressed. Craft I had seen with it fitted looked a bit cheap......just my opinion mind.
It does not have the adjustment range of the Titan or RRP either........

I can see how you guys in the USA will shudder at the additional cost, but I guess once you have seen one you will appreciate the quality and see where the cost comes in. For us Europeans, its a steal at the price.

The base pole kit comes with lower and top sockets, stainless tubes, full A4 hard ware kit, steering plate (not turn plate) and steering plate supports as well as easy install guide. One of the neat features I liked was the built in tube stops which stops the damn thing from collapsing together too........

The cable clamp is just a thing of beuty........... man I cant wait :)

I would love to see some more pics of the Titan Poles!
Would the X Metal Steering system work well with the Titan setup?

can some one explain the difference between the RRP pole and the Titan pole???

looks like a carbon copy..............another carbon copy.....

its very easy to say oh look its a copy, in the uk we have had a lot of issues with other poles even to a 8 stone man sitting on his chin pad and the side mounts shear off .lover castings splitting in two etc ..this is why the titan was built as i got fed up with making excuses for other peoples products so the anser was to build our own.
difference is
its billet which is way stronger than cast ally it is a cectioned construction pole with 3 built in safety features .
the poles are stainless to increase rigid strength to help transfer power to the frount of the ski ( more flex looses effort in manouvers)
ditched the cheesey cable clamp in favour of a clamp that mimics the oem cables exactly..
thicker material at the top section then scolloped out to give strength without added weight

only difference i can see it looks like the Titan is billet maybe? where as RRP Pole uses castings... have to say they do look very similar, even down to the way they tighten the tubes and the saftey bar that goes between the upper and lower parts...

.. however ... in the music industry it has been proven that two song writers in different parts of the world can conceivably write the same melody as each other...

... cos it does look very similar...

.. although i like the idea of billet and being able to pick your colour of the upper and lower brackets would be spank!

have to say i like the look of the ATP pole, it came out a little late for me, i had already got my RRP Pole, other wise i would probbaly have gone down that route, cant knock the products that come from Chris

just for fun... if you look at this picture you can see the RRP pole installed... adnd in the back ground you can see a "homemade" pole which has a "loose" resemblance.....

if it sounds like its cheap then good chance.....

Here's a couple of the Titan.. Have to say it makes my RRP look a bit budget!

STEVE_UK, mate have you seen a TITAN Pole? there is nothing cheap about it buddy! A lot of free riders here in the uk have experienced issues on cast pole sockets..... they break!

The TITAN is on an introductory offer price of 650.00GBP who knows how long that will run for, but I am not hanging around to find out.....lol, mines in production and I cant wait :)

You know...once upon a time some bloke invented the wheel........guess what? some other bloke made it a whole hunk better too!!!! ;)

IMO....... this product raises the bar.........or should I say pole?

dude.. i wasnt refering to the titan pole as cheap, if you look at what i put i actually said that the billet brackets look good, i like the look of your pole, but it has to be said it is very similar to RRP.. but i m a fan of improvement which i think the billet is.

My reference to cheap poles was actually to the pole you can see pictured in at the back in my last post.....:pokey:

no offence intended............

There is a resemblance to a RRP, any pole with twin tubes will be likened to one, but with out putting down the RR priduct this is waaay better, well IMHO any how....

I think the guys at Titan have done a remarkable job with the design and engineering, its unfortunate that most pics dont do it justice!

I have been lead to believe its caused quite a stirr in the industry and a few major players have come forward to sell it in the US.
