Kyle says he has exchanged emails with you concerning the piston crown with basic instuctions on how to reshape the dome, as you requested. You then asked for a drawing, I am not sure he replied to that email, you can't hardly expect us to provide that to you. We have pistons available for order. After two pistons, your result will likley be the same if you aren't changing anything else.

He talked to Phillipe from Jet Connection since this is your dealer, he was well aware of what might be wrong. Forgive me for not knowing, I don't know if you speak English or not. I imagine communicating with DASA is hard because noone here can speak French. Maybe this is part of the problem. I don't know.

We would certainly like to inspect the cylinder, this is the best way to diagnose and fix the problem, but you can't expect us to send you a new one without inpecting yours to begin with.

If you send us the cylinder, insure it and everything will be fine, if something happens, that is why you purchase insurance. If the damage in question is our fault, we will certainly handle shipping. You won't be without a cylinder for very long.

You only paid for one motor, not two, so the motor being lost in transit was no direct fault of Jet Connection. As far as I know Jet Connection covered all costs for a replacement motor.

Please send us the cylinder, we will inspect it, repair any damages to it, or replace the complete cylinder and send back to you as quick as we can.

Brian

Ok, I wasn't aware of your full arrangement with Jet Connection, sorry about that.

Please call Jet connection directly and let Phillipe talk with you about your engine.

.....or, like I said, the fastest methoud to get you back to the water, remove the complete top end and send to DASA ASAP and we will take care of it and send back to you.

Brian

I M VERY ANGRY ABOUT dasa!!!!!

i never receive my draw about the dome!!!!!

dasa is agree to go to argentina to repair their own mistake.... but they don t want to repair their own mistake on my motor in france!!!!!!!
it was very easy... just send a new cylinder and i send mine after....
meucerango (argentina) is a lucky man.....
i m very disapointed......

The jist of the engine problems were the porting was off on the bottom of the exhaust and the piston skirt was also "catching" on the downstroke, it was real close to freeporting.
My (limited) knowledge of what you mean is that the pistons skirt is possibly too short for a 16mm stroker application and the piston goes so high up on it's stroke that the bottom of the skirt actually goes past the exhaust port? And catches on the down stroke!? Wow. So I guess freeporting means the piston went up so high that the exhaust port was directly open to the cases? How was that not caught when the engine was built as DASA?

I have already tried to help you over the course of a month, as I have already said, you are asking for something that isn't possible. You cannot expect us to release a drawing of our dome design to you or anyone.

DASA wants to help you and has offered to fix it, but you have to give some consideration that you are on the other side of the world.

Use the internet for leverage all you want. You can't expect us to send you a 3K part to FRANCE. Sorry.

As I have said in PM's and Kyle has said in phone calls to your dealer, send the top end back to us or your dealer and we will inspect it and repair it or replace it and send it back. If it is our error, we will credit you for your shipping costs as well.

meuancarandgo PAID for DASA's airfare because he didn't want to ship the parts back to us.

I already said we would look into your problem if you sent the cylinder back, which you haven't done. If had sent it back weeks ago, this would have already been resolved.

No, it wasn't freeporting. Close though.

Sleeve was ported incorrectly. Everyone makes mistakes.
