ahhhh ok whew
I'm no engineer but doesn't the length of the hauler (lever arm) plus the weight of an SXR and Superjet WAY exceed the tongue rating on that hitch? 400lb SXR + 4' of lever = 2,000ftlb at the hitch?
looks like everything worked out perfectly.. and yes a lot of people choose to go with helper bags in the rear. depending of course on what vehicle is telling sometimes they can just do a helper spring if it is leaf springs or if you have an HD truck nothing is usually needed.I bought the ez ski hauler. The truck, boat, and hauler are new additions. I tried it yesterday just to see if the sag was bad. Maybe i'll add air bags to help it out.

I think for $80 it's a good idea. A guy commented that he was able to do it with the wheels off.
Hahaha that's awesome been building these for 9 years now and not a single issue.I posted the picture of the hauler on the jet boat forum and the safety police are offended by the images.

It was to be expected. These are the kind of people that have boating checklists.

Loving the minimalism!Making this happen now. Got a little fabrication to do.
I have a bumper to go over the top too. I need to cut the old receiver out.....and weld this one in it's place. It has more support going up the frame rails, rated for 400 lbs. Should be plenty sturdy. Really only worried about how light the steering might get.Loving the minimalism!
