Yes. It worked on my stock rn hood and also on my new tom21 hood.

Strap is holding up. I have landed upside down off v-wakes doing back flips and hood didnt move. I have no hood hooks also, Tried 20+ barrel rolls and all failed and no problems. Great strap for the money.
