I've made some significant headway on the Hot Tub. But, I didn't plan on diving in this deep until next winter. After digging out as much of the saturated foam as I could get to, I plumbed in two 1/2" water lines. I also ripped out the old plastic Home Depot deck drains and installed my own system. It's 2 bilge fittings, Y'd together, and then routed out back to a 1" Versaplug. I also added two micro Versaplugs to drain any water that ends up in the very back of the boat. Exhaust is now straight through 2.25".

looking good. What the plans for the water box? Are you going to make the inlet & exhaust bigger.
For now, I'll just keep the stock water box as it is. Surprisingly, it works really well. I was able to get the plumbing to and from the pipe without any kinks or rubbing. The ID of the inlet and outlet of the box is 1/2" smaller than the new exhaust tube that I plumbed in. But, that doesn't appear to hurt performance - Yet. This motor is a stock 750 small pin, with the only mods being a 46mm SBN and the Factory pipe. When I go to a bigger motor, I'll rethink the waterbox.

Here's some vids from yesterday's testing. The dual cooling mods definetly solved my overheating problems! Nothing melted and water temp coming off of the pissers was only warm, even after extended full throttle pulls. The fishermen were geeking out on this thing, yesterday, and one guy even offered to do a gps speed clocking for me. 38mph and 6900 rpms. There's more in there, I'll play with the water screws on the pipe next. I'm pretty sure that I can break 39mph if I wear my steampunk helmet!

Thing is moving! Did you replace the foam in the back or leave it empty for now? And what impeller are you running?
No refoam. I'm leaving the ass end open. It's got a Solas in there now...I'm not sure what pitch it is. Current motor and pump is only temporary as the next phase of Braap enhancement is about to commence.
