Surfriding How to keep Surfers off your local break???

We've had similar issues with wake boarders in our cove. I make it a point to introduce our crew to the regulars. Depending on conditions we usually manage to split the cove. If they are cool sometimes they will make a wake for us while they are adjusting their fat sacks or wedge. Once they realize we aren't going to plow into the side of their $80,000 boat and if one of us manages to get upside down they actually respect us. If we have a near stock ski in the group we usually offer to let them try it if they'd like.

There is one set of wakeboard boats that throws v-wakes for us just about every time they see us.
AWESOME!

I am curious who the JACKASSES are that think they own anything in the water besides their ski or board. You dont OWN any break. If a douchebag on a ski gets stupid in an area where I am surfing I will school them. If A guy on a surf board is where I am ridiing my ski I will find another area. Do you get it?????????? Surfers must paddle................Jet skis can get into any position quickly. Surfing was here long before jets skis were even somebodies wet dream. The fact is that riding waves on a board is legal..............I love going big in the surf on my ski just as much as paddling into a nice section on my long board. (I have never got a ticket for riding my surf board). So to answer the question How to keep Surfers off your local break??? It cannot be done.

i'd have to agree with boris and his two posts. short, simple, and to the point. very well said my friend...
Maybe this is the kind of statement and attitude tha gets guys on skis a bad rap. Boris go ahead sharpen your ride plate. I can see you real nice through my scope did you see the red dot on your chest. Hahahahahahaha. Please stay away from cali.................

Saw this on the surfing waves forum and thought it was interesting. A surfers point of view..

It's a crowded day but slow and a bit small. A nice rideable wave comes through every two or three minutes. Everybody is positioning themselves on the outside, or the inside. Here comes a perfect one on the outside, several surfers get set to take off along the point, then as the wave begins to crest a Jetski comes tearing down the wave from 25 yards out. Respecting his ride, everyone pulls out. Nice one. The waiting begins again, but about 30 seconds later, you see the Jetski cruising back to the optimal take-off point, once again about 25 yards deeper than everyone else. The next perfect wave, here he comes again...

So you have a choice: Cut off the guy riding a log or kayak or Jetski mach 10 right at your head, or keep the peace and let him catch 90% of the waves.

I'm sorry that you are too thick or too elitist to understand humor or sarcasm on the interwebs without one of those smiley faces to clue you in.

RELAX DRAMA QUEENS This thread was meant as a joke. You’re getting your panties all waded up for nothing. NO ones planning on “chumming” a line up, double mixing there oil, etc.
