i know there is more to it than that
im def gonna be at the causeway tomarrow. i got the blue dakota wit a beat up 750 on the back lol
i dont get off till 5, ill see if i cant get out a lil early i guess. most likely gonna be there by bout 6. still plenty of time to ride. were u out there last sunday? thought i saw somebody wit the same ski as the one in ur avatar
yeah, white wit them gay ass purple stickers on it still lol. only been ridin a bit but last time i went out there wit a couple guys from here and they were killin them nose stabs. since i cant mess around on my bike right now i might as well learn some more stuff on my ski ya know
You don't need a wake to get started. practice some S turns with little hops: a hop to the right, then a hop to the left. When you have a good rhythm, go ahead and hit the gas and really crank the bars when you do the left hop. The right one is an important lead-in, but the left is where it all happens. When you hit the gas, throw your weight forward and to the left: my best advice to anyone on a roundnose is to try to bite the gas cap!!
Remember: your job is to get the back out of the water - it's the pump's job to rotate the ski....
When you feel comfortable with that, you can try it off some wakes, but to be honest, it's too hard to get the timing down, so get the basic technique dialed-in on flatwater first.

Hey man that was Spug (Brad) and I (Dan) out there that day. I wish I could help you out, but I'm gone for good and won't be back in town for a while.:banghead: It was nice meeting you though.
I'm sure Danny (Flacarncyle) can teach you, but also talk to Brad (Spug) cuz he definitely has them down and can show you what to do.
Good Luck:biggthumpup:
