New HPE 4mil long rod "bolt in" stroker kit. This kit comes with an ADR/HPE exclusive 72mm stroker crank built with 133 rods, HPE billet stroker baseplate in your choice of color (red or blue anodized, and machined aluminum), HPE stroker domes with Orings for ADA heads, extended dowel pins, new pin bearings, OEM crank seals, and 3 base gaskets in different thickness for fine tuning your squish.

This kit is set up to keep port timing correct, you will gain power right off idle up to peak rpm. The long rod and stroker baseplate combo work together to increase crankcase pumping efficiency, torque and hp. Available for 701 and 760 bores from 81mm to 86mm.

The kit price is $895 as shown

Nice, whats the difference running a 133mm rod versus a 125mm rod, on the same setup (lets assume the 72mm stroke as advertised) ? :)
Very nice option to get good bang for your buck!

The long rod allows me to adjust cylinder height without machining, with a 125 rod port timing would be incorrect. The long rod and spacer plate combo lifts the cylinder so the sleeve is not hanging down into the intake port or obstructing transfer flow. The long rod dwells longer at tdc and dwells less at bdc, this can have a positive effect on crankcase pumping. This combo also slightly increases crankcase volume and that can reduce pumping losses and gain low to mid.
The short rod combo does work and it can work well too. But machining is required to the case top or cyl base to correct port timing, and the advantages listed above are not part of a short rod set up.
Its true that the long rod can reduce side load on the piston but its hard to say if this is an added advantage. A short rod can reach a good rod angle sooner in the stroke than a long rod and that can be an advantage possibly, just not sure if its a measureable advantage in this instance.

Yes it will work. I cant say that ive done alot of single carb testing in 62t cases so i dont have alot of feedback to share.
