The pipe is worth that much, but a non running, sun-faded, water half way up the motor, rotting FX1 isn't worth squatI saw your thread, impressive build!
He said that Factory FX1 B-pipe is worth $700-$900 alone?

Yes but the rest of that ski needs serious work. Paint, turf, it doesn't even run. Without that pipe i would only offer him like 600 MAX. The only reason I mentioned 1500 bucks is taking that pipe into consideration.I saw your thread, impressive build!

This^...Ill bet anything that will need a full engine rebuild and a new stator/flywheel after sitting that long with water, and that carb might be toast too. All rusted/corroded from the outside in..lol

A brand new pipe bpipe cost 750. Tell him 1k and he can keep the pipe.

He might not know that.
He does know about the pipe being limited and no longer sold. He said $2200 for the ski without the pipe.
It has aftermarket ignition, some porting, ss prop, ride plate and bilge pump with handlebar switch.
How much would an engine cost? I would like to buy it, but not for what he's asking and I can't find one locally?
Not sure I should buy a ski in Colorado without seeing it, as it could have been under water for 5 years too?
